New
at the Library!
Not only do we have new books to share, we now have new ways to share
them. With a generous donation from the Friends of the Charlotte
Library, the library purchased a Kindle e-reader and a color Nook
e-reader. These are available for patrons to use in the library, to
learn and explore the features of these two tools. In addition, the
library has e-subscriptions to several magazines and newspapers for you
to enjoy. These include: The New York Times, The Boston Globe,
and The Financial Times; The New Yorker, Cooking Light, Sports
Illustrated, Real Simple, This Old House, Sunset and other
periodicals. Stop in to try one out. Upcoming: workshops on e-readers
and related technologies. Please let us know at the Circulation Desk if
you are interested so we can schedule.
